3- Masood (S): Q.1: If DAI assists with selecting candidates, will these candidates have: A university degree (B.A.) Any background in pharmacy studies Any scientific background (i.e. chemistry, biology, etc.) Q.2: Do the practical courses also have to be accredited/approved by an international body? While internally approved theoretical courses can be easily taught, the practical reality of pharmacy in Afghanistan would be better taught by local actors familiar with the context, however these types of courses are unlikely to be internationally accredited?    06-Jul-2018 11:15 PM

AWLEprocurement (B): Response - Q1. Yes the candidates that DAI can recommend for training have a university degree or will be recently graduated and/or have an education that includes biology and chemistry. Q2. No the practical training does not have to be internationally accredited and is intended to make each student familiar with pharmacy operations and servicing customers and or patients. Local context is highly encouraged in licensed pharmacies.    11-Jul-2018 8:41 AM
