Management and Implementation of 2019 National Trade Fair

1- Farzana (S): 1) If two organizations jointly apply for this project, does DAI/WIE consider the experience of both organizations in past performance review? 2) Would you consider the experience of key personnel (as individuals) in the past experience? 3) Is there any proposal for the location – where the event should take place? 4) The total number of booths are 120. Do we know how many of these businesses are from the regional cities? 5) Is the contractor responsible for transportation, accommodation, M&IE, and logistical support of the products that would be displayed at the fair? 02-May-2019 4:37 PM
AWLEprocurement (B): Yes, however the two organizations must enter into a prime contractor-subcontractor relationship. The prime contractor will be the signatory on the award and will have ALL performance and fiduciary responsibility. In accordance with Section 3.3 of the RFP, Offeror’s Past Performance and References, the Past Performance Form (Attachment F) must list between three and five relevant contracts performed within the last three years that are similar in size, scope and objectives to the activity that is the subject of this RFP. If the Offeror proposes a subcontractor, the table should also include three (3) references for the proposed subcontractor. Q2. Would you consider the experience of key personnel (as individuals) in the past experience?" No, the experience of key personnel is evaluated under the Personnel Experience and Capacities criterion only. 3. WIE hasn’t specified any location but WIE has only given its preference in the RFP. Please review the RFP again about this. 4. Locations of businesses if they are from Kabul or other cities will not have any cost implications for bidders since bidders will not be responsible for traveling and accommodation of travelling businesses. 5. Should we use USAID standard prices, DAI prices, or Afghan Government prices? 4) Will WIE cover the cost of lunch and/or snacks and refreshments for the participating exhibitors during the event? 5) Will WIE pay for accommodation of business participating in Trade Fair from outside Kabul?
