AWLEprocurement (B): RFA Page 4: In order to reach our program target of training at least 5000 individuals on gender awareness, WIE envisions rolling out a series of targeted and controlled training / awareness events for both males and females, with approximately 1000 participants per region (Central, North, South, East, and West). Events at the provincial level should focus on key population centers where there is a sufficient concentration of employers that can hire women. For security purposes and to facilitate meaningful discussion, several smaller events are preferable to very large events. Events should be organized so as to ensure that target audiences are reached in both peri-urban and urban areas across as many provinces as possible. WIE reserves the right to consider grant applications for both nationwide and regionally and provincially specific programming.    26-Feb-2017 9:25 AM

19- procurement (B): We envision a training /awareness event(s) that are conceptualised to best fit with the region being targeted. It might be a presentation within universities, it might be a town hall meeting with local provincial decsion makers; it might be via Friday Sermon: it might also be a general presentation/roundtable format event held within local DOLSAMD / DWA / CDC.We can not set a format in stone as each region might be a bit different. We need the best fit to reach key stakeholders in each region. We mention that several smaller events are better then one big one, and in this way we reach different audiences. It could be considered like a 'mini roadshow' where the same gender awarenss presentation is given to different stakeholder groups in each region. We need the Seller to also advise us what method they think best to reach the different audiences in the different regions. Note from RFA: order to reach our program target of training at least 5000 individuals on gender awareness, WIE envisions rolling out a series of targeted and controlled training / awareness events for both males and females, with approximately 1000 participants per region (Central, North, South, East, and West). Outreach/messaging/training sessions may take the format of but not be limited to: roundtables, town hall meetings, embedded messaging within Friday sermons, school/university workshops, and other presentation formats or public gatherings. WIE is interested to see a creative, well thought out approach to meet the diverse target audiences who differ in term of modernity.    26-Feb-2017 9:23 AM
