The National Productivity Organization NPO is an attached department of Ministry of Industries Production Government of Pakistan Islamabad. NPO has launched productivity movement in the country with the objective to enhance productivity and quality in all economic sectors to promote socio-economic development of the country. NPO Pakistan has successfully completed its various consultancy programs and developed more than 10 Demo companies on Productivity Enhancement 5S Six Sigma TPM and Energy Efficiency. NPO has also conducted its energy efficiency and green productivity programs and organized International Seminars Symposiums and Workshops related to quality and productivity in collaboration with an international organization the Asian Productivity Organization APO Tokyo Japan. APO was established in 1961 under a charter having 20 Asian member countries and Pakistan being one of eight founding members of this International Organization. To extend its networking NPO has acquired the membership of World Confederation of Productivity Science WCPS and World Network of Productivity Organizations WNPO in 2010 having 52 member countries from all over the world.Independent office of the National Productivity Organization NPO was established in June 2001 and NPO was incorporated as nonprofit company under the Companies Ordinance in June 2006. So far NPO has successfully completed over 50 consulting assignments organized participated in more than 500 International Programs and conducted over 1100 National Corporate Training Programs.
The thrust areas of NPO includes Trainings in Productivity Quality Concepts Practices Consultancy Research Services and Energy Efficiency Auditing for productivity improvement in the public and private sectors.
NPO has well established offices in Islamabad Lahore Karachi Peshawar Multan Faisalabad Mirpur AJK and employs over 72 full time staff members. Along with its full time staff members NPO maintains a pool of over 50 professionals consultants in its National Register of Trainers and Consultants.
