Elite Development Counterparts (EDC) is a local non-governmental, non-political and non-partisan organization, founded in 2009. EDC is registered with the Ministry of Economy of the Government of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (GIRoA). It is strongly committed to contribute to social uplift and to improve life standards of the poor masses and disadvantaged sections of Afghanistan, with an emphasis on youths, through a variety of socio-economic services. EDC will work together with the GIRoA, donor agencies and NGOs to reach its aforementioned objectives.
