HistoryANECS is an Afghan owned engineering and construction firm based in Kabul with a branch office in Jalalabad. It was founded in June 2007 by three experienced Afghan engineers Asad Nabil Mustafa Omerzad Fahim Momand. During the first year of existence ANECS has focused on the company or-ganization planning recruiting and business development. ANECS added Steve Blankenship formerly a Construction Representative and Project Engineer with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to the Company Management Team.ObjectiveAs a new company ANECS has focused on small to medium size projects in order to accumulate working capital and build a strong reputation as a company capable of exceeding client expectations.ExperienceThe partners of the company bring a wealth of experience to the management team. This experience as you can see on the CVs includes design supervision and construction management for private contrac-tors the U.S. Military USAID NGOs and the United Nations.With experience on large multi-million dollar government construction projects as well as small humanitar-ian projects and experience with buildings roads utilities earthwork and other trades the client can be confident Atlas Naween has the experience and knowledge to handle any project. The Atlas Naween man-agement team has supervised contracts with other agencies totaling hundreds of millions of dollars they now bring this expertise to Atlas Naween.All the ANECS partners are 100 dedicated to the success of ANECS projects and all take an active role in the management of the projects. In addition we have commitments from numerous local skilled engi-neers in various fields. This will allow us to add competent personnel quickly as projects are awarded.
